Most of the time, when you see an alligator in the wild, they do not want to have anything to do with you. In fact they will leave in a hurry. This one was different. As I slowed down for a closer look, it swam right up towards me. It must have had a nest nearby. They become very protective and you must be very careful around a mother alligator
